Week 2 April 7-11 Fluids and Motion
Assignments:
- Chapter 19 Buoyancy and Fluids Chapter Review Questions
- Chapter 19 Hands On: review mass, volume, density, buoyancy with mini experiments and activities.
- Set up on line science note books and wiki pages
Week 3 April 14-18 Fluids and Motion
- Submarine Challenge: Students need to build a submersable object that can sink to the bottom, briefly hold its position and then rise to the top. They will demonstrate their understanding of buoyancy, density, and the relationships between these concepts and mass/volume.
